Camp Waddlealong

Camp Waddlealong

School is  already in session many places, but not so with  our favorite Penguins.  They are having a great time at Camp Waddlealong (seemed a fitting name for their camp, don't you think?).  You may recognize Camping as an old but goodie TCP stamp that is now available in digital form!

DigiCamping Camping Digital Stamp

I personally am not a big fan of camping, but these guys make it look kinda nice.  I used design papers to create the background and just used the digis from Camping  to create the focal point.  So it was pretty quick and easy to make.

I printed the images, fussy cut the tent and colored them up with Copic markers.  The sentiment was sized and printed using Silhouette Studio and a die cut was used for the base.  To set the scene the tent was popped up ink position on foam tape as was the sentiment and a little grass die cut was added.  A distressing was added with brown ink around the edges of the card.  This is an A2 card, but you are using digitals, it could be any size you want.
The next activity on the camp agenda is, fishing. Now you know for sure the Penguins from Reel Friends are going to be great at that.

This is another fav stamp set, turned digital (YEAH!).  I was so happy to have the ability to turn the Penguin with the bucket around to create this little scene.  I loved being to create the large sentiment and use it as part of the focal point.

For this card, I created the printed panel in Silhouette Studio. Everything was sized to fit on an A2 card and I was able to print the sentiment in green!  The Penguins were imported into the scene and the images were flipped so they were facing each other.

After printing, I did just a little coloring with Copic markers and distressed the edges of all the paper panels.  The panel was partially fussy cut and partially cut with a paper cutter  and backed with cardstock and then layered onto design paper.  The little die cut fish were added to finish it off.

That's it for me for August.  September will be here soon, so that means more digital goodness from TCP!
