Cuddles and More

It's Brenda here with a couple of cards I had fun making with digital stamps and cutting files from the September release (can you even believe it's September?).  The first card uses the following new sets -

Science Science Digi

Teachers Rule Teachers Rule Digi

Just a Note

Just A Note Cutable

This card started with an A2 card blank covered with a patterned paper.   To  create the note I used Silhouette Studio to place the text from Teachers Rule digi onto the Just a Note Cutable .  I added the digi ruler, apple and pencil, to the design page and sized to my preference.  It was printed using the registration marks option and after printing, returned to the Silhouette  for cutting.  It worked like a charm.

I colored the images with the following Copic markers -
Ruler - B 32, 34, 39
Apple -R 05, 29   Y 38    YR 31
Leaf - YG 3, 5, 7
Worm -  YG 3, 5    Y 38
Pencil - E 51, 53    Y 13, 15, 17    B 34    R 20, 21, 22
After the images were colored, I went around the edges carefully with a black marker to cover any white edges that might show.  This gives it a nice finished look.
The images were  positioned as shown above, with the note, the pencil and the apple being popped up on fun foam.  A bit of red buttonhole twist tied around the note was the finishing touch.

This second card was created with the following digital stamps and cutting files.  The "crown molding" is the TCP eyelet die, but you could use something you have or even totally skip it.

Just a thought

Just A Thought Cutable

This card began with a kraft cardstock card blank topped with a patterned paper that I thought looked like wallpaper.  The eyelet border was cut from coordinating cardstock and glued in place.  Once again I used the Silhouette Studio (SS) to print my images using the registration option.  The sentiment and Just a Thought Balloon and darling bear images  were opened and sized accordingly.  The sentiment was positioned on the thought bubble the same way the sentiment was printed on the note in the first card.  This was all printed on white cardstock.  It was once again returned to the Silhouette for cutting.
I also used SS to print and cut the bear/chair images from a patterned paper to do a little paper piecing.  I fussy cut the bears from the white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers and glued them to the pattern paper image.  All of the images were adhered to the base as shown below.  The sentiment was popped up on fun foam squares.

Copic Markers used -
Bears - E31,33, 34, 35, 3737
Bunny slippers - W 1, 3, 5
Book - B 32, 34, 37    E 40, 42

That's all for me for today.  I hope you'll visit the TCP store to take a look at all the new offerings and Alma's tutorial on making a darling "Back to School" card in a box.   Thanks so much for popping by.  Wishing you all well, stay safe!
