Hey Y'all!!! Teresa her with another cute little bunny. She cracks me up. Just sitting and patiently waiting with the cake. I'd have eaten it already. How about you? The Cat's Pajamas has so many great digital images, especially these little bunnies. Be sure to check them all out! All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).
I began by coloring this cute little birthday bunny and her cake on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper using Copic markers.
The card base is from a piece of Pacific Point card stock. It's one of my favorite colors. I chose patterned paper that was very bright and cheery. Reminded me of a birthday cake. I always choose my paper first and build the whole card around that, including my Copic colors. Do you?
I cut a second piece of Pacific Point at 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" and glued strips of my patterned paper in a random order. The strips are 1/2" wide. I put a layer of double sided tape in between the strips and covered the tape with silver Nuvo gilding flakes. When I was finished, I glued it down to the card base with wet glue.
I cut some shiny silver paper with multiple dies and glued them randomly on top of the strips background. You can cut any shapes you like and apply them in a way that makes you happy. Some are glued down flat and some are popped up with foam tape. My little beautiful bunny is sitting on one of the brackets, just hanging out with her cake. Oops, maybe it's my cake. I'd better get over there and get a piece.
This particular sentiment just cracked me up. 'Don't mind me... I'll just sit here quietly with the cake'. Thought it was perfect for this little bunny. Cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies and popped it up in the corner with foam tape.
The last thing was to color the icing with yellow stickles. Love glittery things.
