Hello TCP Friends! Christine with you today, and its Easter Week soon! I’m bringing you some sweet treats perfect for an Easter Basket in your future! For us Easter means far more than bunnies and eggs, but its always fun to create with them in this season. Today I’m showcasing some products that you might already have in your TCP stash! I hope so, because the physical pieces are retired, but wherever we have SVG or digi files in store I’ve linked them. It is always fun to bring you inspiration with these fun products. I showcasing a card and coordinating tag with a fun colour combination.
Here is my mini-slimline card using TCP retired Stamp set and coordinating dies called Follow the Bunny. These two guys look up to some mischief don’t they? They’re coloured up with Copics, cut with the dies and placed on an ink splattered background. That splatter pairs well with the “egg” theme we have going on. I have a TCP Slimline Suburbs CutUp die in the foreground, with a couple extra eggs and holeless sequins to add some glitz.
Here's a peek at the PEEPS inside the card. They’re too cute not to include.
As I was creating I was also reminded of one of my favourite little CutUps dies Alma released called Spring Animals in SVG at the TCP Store and pulled it out to make a tag to match.
Isn’t he the cutest? This die set was so fun because you can interchange the animals. The stamped eggs are from another TCP set, in digi called Happy Easter. Adding these colourful eggs makes the tag coordinate nicely with the card. Again I’ve splattered ink onto the TCP Everyday Tags SVG, and finished it with some nice satin ribbon and baker’s twine. Perfect for the Easter basket or gift bag.
One of my kids’ favourite things (and to be honest mine too) was to “hunt” for chocolate Easter eggs after Church at Easter dinner with Grandma and Grandpa!
Thanks for joining me today, and I hope you’re smiling just a little bit more after these cuties today!
Here’s a peek at some of the TCP items I used today.
