Healthy Cookies for Santa...

Healthy Cookies for Santa...

Hey there crafty friends!  It's Kerry here and I'm back to share a fun little cuttable project I created using the new Red and Black Ornament Tags Cutable files and my Silhouette Cameo.  I thought I would start prepping some cute tags for the season and am working on trying new cookie recipes...I am working on new healthy cookie recipes and am experimenting with some yummy ingredients in hopes that I will perfect the treats in time to plate them for Santa...  This recipe includes oatmeal, vanilla, dates, egg and gogi berries.  These seem to be really dark cookies and are not burnt.  I think the color comes from the dates and gogi berries...  They are tasty, but not perfect...yet!

I really love these little tags and they're so easy to assemble.  I chose to use only red and white and used the Copic YR01 to color Santa's nose.

Red & Black tags

I will definitely be adding a little white pom-pom to the ball on his hat but that idea didn't come until I was finished posting these pictures.   I can't wait to make some of the ornaments in metallic colors...That will be fun!

As a fun gift idea, I used a clear bag and tucked all the cookies into it.  I added some tiny M&M's and some festive mini Gobstoppers too.  Yum!

Thanks for hopping over to check out my project.  Remember to check out the store and take advantage of the 60% sale going on NOW until the end of the month.
