Hi Everyone! It’s Christine with you today, and I have a sweet design for you today using new images from The Cat’s Pajamas. This one is called One Stitch, and it showcases all kinds of textile art, knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing.
My Mama was a professional seamstress. She was so gifted at creating garments that fit perfectly, were stylish and beautiful. She was always dressed so well and almost entirely made by her hand. I can’t tell you how many pieces of beautiful clothing she sewed me or my kids, or for other people. Or ....how much time I spent in the fabric store as a kid!
I coloured the image with Copics and coloured pencil to coordinate with this fun plaid paper in the background. This little lady has her fashion on! The button accents and ric rack are retired dies, that work so perfectly.
And the sentiment is also a nod to my Mom. She really was amazing. I miss her, and I’m grateful for her life.
