New Digis..."Never Forget!"

New Digis..."Never Forget!"

Hey there TCP friends!  It's Kerry here and I'm popping in to share a sweet little card featuring the newest digi set called "Never Forget!".  It's a fun little collection of two sentiments and an adorable little elephant with his trunk tied...Yep, he's got it all tied up so he doesn't forget to grab some peanuts at the market.  Hee hee.

Neverforget Never Forget Digi Stamp

The great thing about digis is that you can modify the stamps and images to create a multitude of designs.  Sometimes I use MS Word  when I'm using my digi stamps but this time, I plopped these images right into my Silhouette Studio 4.0 software and went to town.  You might notice that I grabbed that little flower near the elephant's bum to create a fun floral background.  I also tucked the sentiment right in with the flowers to make them blend seamlessly.  I also removed the butterfly on top of his head so that I could really focus attention on that adorable elephant in a garden of posies.

After creating the background panel and modifying the elephant image, I colored the images with my Copics then I fussy cut the design (yes, I prefer fussy cutting over machine cutting) and arranged it on some sunshine yellow cardstock.  I then attached some green ribbon (for grass) and a strip of blue (sky) machine stitched cardstock for the top.

Check out that sparkle!  I added some microfine glitter to the big flowers on the background to give it all the sparkly vibes...

Thanks so much for hopping over to check out my card.  I hope it inspires you to get creative with those digis, find pieces and parts that you can incorporate into other areas like backgrounds and get those juices flowing!  See you next time!  Meow.
