Round is a Shape

Round is a Shape

Hi all!  It's Brenda here today with a couple of cards featuring some of the fun digis from the July release at The Cat's Pajamas.  Many of us in the US are in the throws of summer and have been dealing with extremely hot temperatures.  Bunny from the new In Shape Digistamps has figured out a way to beat that heat.

For card 1, I fired up the Silhouette, printed and cut the Bunny from In Shape.  I created a little scene for him by using a background paper along with the frame/tree from Gnome Sighting, grass from Grassy Patches and sun from Wonky Sun and Clouds.

Everything was cut from white card and colored with different mediums.  Bunny was colored with colored pencils, the sun and tree with Distress Oxide Inks and the grass with Copic markers.  The first sentiment I cut was too large, so I stamped the same with the retired stamp set on a die from my stash.

Card 2 was inspired by a maker on YouTube.  He used a stamp similar to Inkspots and Splatter Digistamps to create "blood" on a Halloween make.

All the elements for this card were cut with the Silhouette Studio.  The tag from Fancy Frames Digistamp/SVG is the background.  Elements from  Hide and Eek, and of course the red splatter from  Inkspots and Splatter, were all added to a panel on the tag.  The sentiment from  Mwahh was printed, matted and embellished with a retired TCP die.

The tag's backdrop was chalked with blue and grey and Drac was colored with Copic markers.  To finish things off, Stickles on the spiderweb and bats from Witch Please were added.  The tag was layered onto an A2 card base covered with a panel of Halloweenish paper.

Here are the fun sets from the July release Iʻve used today -
