Hello there inky friends! It's Kerry here and I'm back with a fun and festive creation for the end of the school year "ALOHA" party! Every year, my kindergarteners celebrate the end of the year and their transition to being a first grader with a fun Aloha party. Since the word Aloha has so many meanings, including Hello and Goodbye, it's the perfect word to help usher in new beginnings and close the door on this crazy, crazy year! It's also a time to celebrate all that we have accomplished and the great friendships/community we have developed.
My kinderpeeps spend the day in full Aloha style with festive decorations and games as well as tasty treats for littles...This card was created for my teaching partners...because, yes...WE ARE SOOO READY TO CELEBRATE and put this year in the books. PHEW...It's been wild! I'm also including a little gift bucket full of teacher treats (tequila, mixer, salt, limes, etc) that will be given to them at our end of the year TEACHER party.
The TEQUILA digi set was the perfect set for this fun project. I pulled the fun TIKI cups images from the set and placed them in a cluster then added the sentiment. After that, I printed and cut the image and colored with Copic markers. Next, I mounted the image onto a piece of hot pink and lemon yellow cardstock then mounted the whole panel onto a neon green card base. It's just a little longer than a square size, but a perfect size for the gift bucket.
Make sure you take advantage of the great 40% off sale this month! All stamps/dies/stencils and embellies are on sale until they are gone!
I hope my card inspires you to create something YUMMY with this fun and festive Tequila set! Thanks for popping over and see you next time!
