Hello TCP Friends! Today its Christine here with you, and I’m showing off some of the beautiful August New Release designs for you! I’m starting off with this lovely beachside scene with the new set Just Add Water.
I started by arranging my digital stamp images onto the page in an ocean scene with sandcastle making, a lighthouse and a ship sailing the oceans blue! Next I coloured all of the images with Copics, adding in some sparkly and foam to the waves with a white sharpie.
I added in a few lines with a black Micron pen to tie the scene together between beach in the foreground and lighthouse in the mid ground. And my beach is definitely somewhere in the Caribbean with the gorgeous colour!
With all of the wonderful scene going on I just added the flag style sentiment “Happiness Comes in Waves”.
Next I have an underwater scene...
Now this lovely set is called Be A Mermaid. And the images are just gorgeous! I picked the mermaid and crab scene and coloured it with Copics, and then placed it window style under a layer of watercolor paper which I had used Lindy’s Magical Powders on to create a watery background. It is full of shimmer in person.
You might just be able to see some of the shimmery quality to the card. I also added in shimmer pen to her hair and the shell and crab. I also added in some teal coloured paper waves using a retired TCP die.
Accents include a die cut starfish (retired TCP die), the sentiment and some sparkly sequins to feel like bubbles. She is simply mermazing!
