Hello TCP Friends! It’s Christine with you today, bringing you some fun peeks at the fabulous November Release at The Cat’s Pajamas! I've got three designs to show you starting with this card created with the new set Baby It’s Cold Outside!
I love the cool polar bear and penguin duo, so I thought it would be fun to pair them with an icy cool palette. I used one of the sentiment’s from the set and because of the ease of using a digital stamp, I enlarged the sentiment and made it the focal point and then added the polar pals in a smaller scale popped up. They’re coloured up with Copics and because they’re small, colouring was a snap! The background is sponged with Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China and Mermaid Lagoon, spritzed it with water and then splashed with more ink.
A few die cut snowflakes and sequins add some colour interest in that fun winter theme.
The next design is perfect for your loved ones who are facing that dreaded winter cold (and hopefully it’s nothing worse than that!).
It’s created with TCP’s adorable new Bounce Back digital. I love this cutie! He’s cozied up in the coziest snowflake paper-pieced patterned paper blanket, and then colour is added to his cute little self with Copics. He’s got his tissue box, hot water bottle, a cup of tea and a cozy popped up scarf to keep him warm.
I framed the image with a snowflake topper and added the red Baker’s Twine to the image to coordinate with the striped scarf that I coloured.
On this view you can see how the scarf, tissues and tea are popped up. I feel like it's a great cozy card.
And lastly, I’ve got a clean and simple but sparkly design with this Figure Skater by Day and stealthy Ninja by night!
It uses TCP’s new Skating Bunny digi. I thought the sentiment was such a cute one. Our spinning bunny is coloured up with Copics and I couldn’t resist using a swirly die on the background layer to mimic the fancy skating routine he’s been doing.
I added lots of spritzy sparkle to the main layer which of course is so challenging to photograph, but its so fun in person. The card is accented with a pretty gingham ribbon pulling in the black and white colour scheme.
And some holeless sequins accent the sparkly theme of the design. I hope you’ve enjoyed the fun and festive sets I’ve played with today. Here’s a peek at the set graphics so you can see what is included in each design! Thanks so much for joining me today!
