WOODLAND GNOEL

WOODLAND GNOEL

I love a good GNOME pun...GNOEL...tee hee! I'm back with another July release card. The GNOEL digi stamp is THE cutest. A nice big dark sentiment and a big open image with plenty of room for coloring. (AND, there's a matching cutable too!)

The WOODGRAIN COVERPLATE background Cutable is an easy answer for a great backdrop for a woodland image. The pine bough in the new SIMPLY WINTER Cutable file was too cute not to try out. These were tricky on my Silhouette but I'm not sure if it was me or maybe the wrong blade or pressure? I had to run it through twice - lucky I learned a little trick: DON'T UNLOAD THE MEDIA UNTIL YOU KNOW THAT IT'S CUT THROUGH YOUR CARDSTOCK. Obviously, all cardstock is different and might be slightly thicker than what you cut with last. Lots of little cuts for these but I LOVE them so much. They add texture and depth to the card.

I really just love the greenery with the the wood card base. WOODGRAIN ROCKS! This super cute little gnome has that giant ornament and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. I actually cut two of them and colored both - more detail on the top layered gnome but I didn't want the underneath gnome to look awkward.

Ribbon corners and enamel dots complete the look on this fun slimline card...ready for CHRISTMAS cardmaking anyone?

Head over to the shop and see what's still available during the "going digi" sale...super deals right now!
