January Sneaky Peek #5

January Sneaky Peek #5

Stitched Enjoy
Happy Day #5! You’ve probably been seeing parts of this CutUps Die here and there during Sneaky Peek Week. The big, outer die on Kerry Urbatch’s card on Day #1. Lynn Collins card on Day #2.  And, Nancy Thomas' card on Day #3. Today, we are going to show you all of this NEW die.
This die, and all the items shown so far this week are NOW AVAILABLE in the shop.

First off is Special Guest Designer, Julee Tilman. This card looks simple, but it is beautiful in its details. With all the inks and paints on the market, it’s easy to create stunning backgrounds. Here’s what you do with them.
Use the NEW Stitched Enjoy CutUps Die and cut from white or cream paper. Remove the word and lightly blend a matching color to the background on the word. Once you are done insert the word back into the stitched background. Not only does the word stand out, but the background peeks through.
As an embellishment, Julee used the cup from the NEW Coffee Clatch CutUps, coloring it in to give it depth.

Wendy Mcgaffey creates a warm and beautiful card. Wonderful sponging really highlights the NEW Stitched Enjoy CutUps and the cups from the NEW Coffee Clatch CutUps.
If you want a simple, yet stunning invitation to coffee, this card by Deborah Anton is it. The NEW Stitched Enjoy stands out from the pretty paper. Deborah used the Liners CutUps to create a channel for the sentiment from the One Liners Stamp Set.

This card by Brenda Nakandakari looks so much better in real life! Because of all the pretty gold foil that she used to embellish the card it’s hard to photograph. You’ll just have to take my word for it. The stitched background is a great place to show off patterned  paper. The cup is from the NEW Coffee Clatch CutUps.

There are so many great papers out there you might want to highlight parts of the paper. That’s what Lynn Collins did with this card. This is one of those “Just Because” cards that are just so pretty to give to a friend who loves what you do.
I hope you liked these beauties, if you did, comment on each of the following blogs/instagrams and you could win a $10 gift voucher. We’ll pick a winner each day this week from the comments on the blogs and instagrams and post the winners here and on our Facebook page.
