I LOVE Halloween. Especially Vintage, Victorian Halloween. I’ve been wanting to do a Home Decor piece. I was inspired by these crystal balls, and when I saw them I knew I had to do a set Cat’s Pajamas style.
I glued candlesticks and a vase from the Dollar Tree together with E6000 and topped them with little glass cups that I recycled from a package of Creme Brûlée from Costco and spray painted them gloss black.
I used our NEW The Neighboohood Stencilz to create the inside of these balls on acetate using permanent ink. I rolled them up and inserted them and glued a ring of fairy lights to the base of the ball so that I could light them up at night.
Spooky flowers and leaves adorn the top of the stands for a truly Victorian feel. The globes nestle comfortably in the flowers. I added the spider on the globe for extra creep.
