Color Up Me Some Kraft

Color Up Me Some Kraft

It's almost time for my brother's birthday. We are pretty close in age and growing up it was inevitable that we spent a lot of time together. We were latchkey kids and afternoons were spent playing with legos and boardgames with my sister. He's always been there for me, and always been very supportive of everything I did. So, I thought I'd stamp up a vintage, but masculine card for him. And, the colors in this card remind me of Spring

Wendy Mcgaffey  colored up a beauty of a card on Kraft paper, so I thought I'd give it a try.  The first thing I did was to put in the highlights with white pencil to keep straight in my head where the light was coming from. Then, I decided that the kraft paper would be my medium tone. Once that was done I stared coloring.
I have to say that I love this technique. It was easy and I LOVE the hand drawn vintage look the coloring achieved.
