What is a Cutable?
Cutables are simple and easy to use downloadable files. We do the measuring so you have more time to play.
How do I get my Cutable files?
Just add the Cutables to your shopping cart and checkout. Once you check out, your downloadable files will appear in your "My Account." That way you will always be able to access it. In addition, you are sent an email with a link that you can download your zipped file.
What do I get when I purchase a Cutable?
Cutables that you purchase can contain a .studio, .svg and .pdf file (just in case you don't have a cutting machine). Please check the description for each Cutable to ensure that it contains the file you need.
Instructions can be viewed on our
video library . Your downloadable files are compressed into .zip files to make it faster for you to download. Just open these files by double clicking. If your pc does not have an application to unzip the file, Explorer or Outlook can. So, you may want to try sending yourself the .zip file as an attachment. Or, you can download
winzip or
7zip. Winzip is an application that unzips from Windows or your Mac. They let you try it out before they ask you to purchase. 7zip is a free application.
I have a PC. How do I unlock a .zip file?
To unzip from Outlook:

In the Opening Mail Attachment dialog box, if you click Open, the zip utility automatically unzips the file for you if the utility is configured to do that; typically this is the default setting.

If you click Save, you can save the .zip file to the location that you want by using the usual Windows Save As dialog box.
To unzip from Explorer:

To unzip a file, right-click the file, and then click Extract on the shortcut menu.
Why did I get a .pdf file?
If you don't have a cutting machine at the moment we don't want you to miss out on the fun. Just open the .pdf with
Acrobat Reader and print the template out on the back of your designer paper. Cut on the solid lines and score on the perforated lines. Easy Peasy.
Do I get a .pdf file for the Stamp Set Cutables?
Cutables for Stamp Sets ONLY include .svg and .studio files, We figured that your stamped images would be a better guide.
Why are the FREE Cutables available for only some stamp sets?
Free Cutables are available for Stamp Sets that were released in 2014, with the exception of Stamp Sets that have an accompanying die set.
I've Downloaded the files and unzipped them. What next?

Open your Cutting Machine software and import the files for your machine. ie: .studio, for Silhouette Machines

Select the file and "ungroup" the selection if your objects are grouped. If you wish to ungroup further you may choose "Release Compound Path"

Cut

Repeat for each different paper.

Stamp, assemble and enjoy.
