12 Days of Crafting - Day 4

12 Days of Crafting - Day 4

It's day 4 of the 12 Days of Crafting here at TCP. Wow, I hope you've enjoyed days 1-3 as much as I have.  Jen here continuing the 12 days of Crafting with some recycled Christmas cards.

What do you do with all of the Christmas cards that you get in the mail each year?  They're all so pretty I hate to throw them away.  So  tuck them into a box and bring them out each December to repurpose into new cards.

Jen TCP Old Cards

This year I decided to use the Ho Ho Ho Digi/SVG to jazz up my old cards.  And there are so many different ways to use this fabulous Digi/SVG!

Ho Ho Ho Ho Ho

First, I simply printed the digistamp version, foiled it and cut it out with my ScanNCut.

Ho Ho Mittens

It's so festive in red foil, and so elegant in gold.

Ho Ho Gold Foil

I love the gold.  So I also tried out the SVG with gold metallic cardstock.

Ho Ho Trees

But I also have a lot of glitter embossing powder that was just begging to be used.  So I used the SVG to cut it from white cardstock and embossed with red.

Ho Ho Sweaters

And then I embossed in blue.

Ho Ho Snowflakes

And heck, pink is a Christmas color, right?

Ho Ho Happy Holiday

Now the pretty cards that my loved ones sent to me last year get to live on and spread even more Christmas joy this year!  And I made 7 Christmas cards in no time at all.  It's a win-win.

Don't forget to shop the fabulous Black Friday sale. All products are 30% off thru December 4.

Check back tomorrow for another 12 Days of Crafting idea.
