Happy Holiday Crafting! Corinna here again, with day 10 of the 12 Days of Crafting! Today, I have made another clean and simple card. With the holidays coming, clean and simple is sometimes the easiest way to go if you need to make lots of cards to send to friends and family.
For this card, I went back to the basics. I printed out the sweet image and sentiment from the digital stamp set Time for Presents. I colored the image using copics and I fussy cut the image. I then cut some strips in different sizes of cardstock using various holiday colors. I glued them onto the card base at a diagonal slant. I popped up the image with foam tape and centered it over the holiday rainbow strips. I ink blended the sentiment so it stood out a bit more, and I added some simple water drop gems.
I hope you like this very clean and simple card and that you try making one using cardstock strips. It is a great way to get creative and add some matching color to your project!
