It's Day #2 of The Cat's Pajamas 12 Days of Crafting. This year our design team will be stretching their creative juices to celebrate what I have always thought to be the most creative time of the year. Whether it be Hanukkah, or Christmas, or whatever you celebrate, we've got the digis to get you going.
This year, I'm so excited to present this Santa Christmas Eve Board. Charcuterie boards are all the rage, so why not one for Santa?
I used digis from the Scandi Santa and Whisk You A Merry Christmas Digi/SVG sets. And, then I added elements from the Christmas Eve Digi/SVG set. The Christmas Eve Digi/SVG set is available as a FREE download while the 12 Days of Crafting is going on, so don't wait to go and get it. The cutting board is from Dollarama.
I put all the elements together in Inkscape and once I had the design, I decided to use my glowforge to engrave the design. If you don't have a laser or CNC machine, you can always use your Cricut and cut vinyl. I used a piece of scrap wood I had to cut a jig for the cutting board for precise placement.
Then, I proceeded to engrave the design. This design took about and hour and a half.
