Gnoming into Summer

Gnome Happy Summer Sign

Hi everyone!  Brenda here with another crafty bit to share.  I used the new Gnome Sighting SVG to make a little sign to announce the coming of summer which is right around the corner!

I started the process by cutting Gnome Sighting with a Silhouette.  I opted to cut it from paper scraps in my stash.  The background was made by ink blending to create the sky.  The SVG was glued together to create this cute little scene.  There's plenty you can do with the cute little gnomes, fun mushrooms, flowers and grassy patch that comes in this digital file.

After the scene was completed, I glued it onto a piece of recycled corrugated cardboard and made a little hanger with jute.  It needed a little something, so I used Banner Digistamp to create the banner by welding 2 plain fishtail banners together and sizing them to fit the sentiment created with Babydoll Alphabet Digistamp/SVG.  I printed and cut it using Silhouette Design Space and it worked great!  To give the banner a more finished look, I ran a yellow marker around the edges to give the appearance of solid core paper.
