You read that right! We just can't get enough of our little friend, the gnome, so we decided to feature him for our Gnovember Release.
Nothing says "Fall" like Pumpkin Spice anything, so this little cutie is very on trend, peeking out of his empty (I hope) cup. I used the NEW Pumpkin Spice Digistamps and designed the mini slimline card in Silhouette Studio and print and cut it out on kraft paper. Color pencil was added and a bit of white chalk marker really makes this card pop. Easy peasy.
This card is simple and fun! Just like our little friends. The Winter Gnomes Digistamp has 4 different Gnome images and 4 sentiments, but I used the Happy Holidays svg from our Holiday Sayings Digi/SVG. I cut out the words 3 times and layered them together to pop up the words.
The trees were from the Christmas Cutouts Digistamp/SVG. I just used the base of the tall tree and welded 3 of them together. The skating gnome was colored with color pencil.
This little gnome has so many different places he could go. Which will he choose? He's at a crossroads, methinks. Whatever he chooses, it will be delicious. The signs on the digi, are blank so you can even add your own locations.
I added the "Hello Winter" from the Holiday Sayings Digi/SVG. I wanted the words to be color, so I used the SVG from the file and changed the color to one I wanted, surrounded it with an oval and print and cut it out. When it came time for the cutting, I just told the machine not to cut the words, just the oval.
With all that color, I wanted a bit of sparkle. So, I cut the branch and snowflake from metallic paper.
I have to say, that these cards were just so easy to create. And fast. With all the designing done on the computer and the cutting using my Silhouette, I had lots of time to do what I really enjoyed, coloring.
It was like I had little gnomes in the background helping me, or something.
Anyway, these are just 3 of the 6 sets Digistamps we are releasing this month of Gnovember, along with 2 Cutables that you can dress up with our charming little gnomes.
