Happy End of Summer, Kitties! Corinna here with another card!
I never know where the time goes, but it goes faster with each passing year. It's time to pull out all things Fall - and that includes pumpkins and gnomies! This card is using the Pumpkin Spice Gnome digital stamp set! How fun is this image!? I enjoyed coloring it with Fall colors. As I was coloring, I thought about all of the different color combinations I would love to do!
To make this card, I printed out the darling gnome image and sentiment from the digital set and I colored him up with copic markers. I used YR04, YR07, YR09, B97, B95, B93, E53, E51, E50 and G05, along with a white gel pen and a gold metallic pen I had in my stash. I fussy cut the image and the sentiment. Then, I found some general pumpkin dies in my stash and die cut 4 of them: 2 orange and 2 ivory. I ink blended around the edges to give them dimension and colored the stems. I also ink blended the sentiment (using the same ink as I did on the ivory pumpkins: Antique lined distress ink). I got some patterned paper from my stash and colored the card base on the edges with my metallic gold pen so I could have a fun shiny border on the base of the card. Then I just layered up the papers and glued everything down. The gnome and the sentiment are both popped up.
