Hello, Crafty Friends! I know you're all getting excited for the May release, but here are a couple more cards using the March release. It's the end of April, and you know what that means. Bathing suit season is just around the corner. So this little bunny is getting into shape.
I love the You Got This Digistamps. I do own the original clear stamp set and used that for this first card. I made this card for last week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. We were making cards to send to a woman who was recently diagnosed with cancer. She is very much into fitness, so I thought this would be the perfect encouraging card for her. I made this background by blending gelatos onto cardstock that was primed with gesso. And I had so much fun with both the gelatos and the stamp that I just had to make another card.
I also wanted to show how easy it is to make both a feminine and a masculine card with this digistamp. I made this background the same way. First priming the cardstock with gesso, then blending random gelatos colors. Next, I spritzed a background stamp with water and got really cool distressed results when I wiped away the water. This card uses the digital stamp printed much larger than the original stamp. I fussy cut it and glued onto the background. This is a birthday card for my nephew and I used a really great retired sentiment stamp to go with it.
Here is the Digistamp set that I used today:
